Welcome to the SG Photography Blog – a website with a mix of photography and technology tips and a splash of my own personal photographs.
My name is Scott Gawne and I am a photography hobbyist who loves learning about photography. My hope for the Scott Gawne Photograph Blog is to teach you what I know. I believe more people would enjoy technology and photography if they knew how to keep their computers running smoothly and fill them up with their own beautiful photographs.
The SG Photography Blog is a supplement to the Scott Gawne Photography hompage. My goal for the blog is to share some of my personal photographs, a mix of articles, tips and tutorials related to photography and also some general computing and technology tips. The photos on the Scott Gawne Photography homepage are selected photos from my the past few years of learning photography. The photgraphs on this blog will be updated more frequently than the main page and many will be used to teach photography techniques.
Since I am not a professional photographer or writer (please excuse typos), and have a full time engineering career at Lockheed Martin, I hope I will be able to relate closely to you as a beginner or intermediate photographer with limited time and a drive to learn more. This is my personal site fully maintained by me myself and is purely my opinion. I will not be able to update on a set schedule, in fact my writings here will be relatively random and on my free time. I recommend subscribing to updates via the RSS feed in your favorite rss reader, or through an email subscription via the subscribe box in the top right corner. Subscribing to this blog will enable you to receive all updates from the site delivered directly to you.
